KINGS ROW APARTMENTS (southeast Houston)
We presented a Vacation Bible School for the children who participated in the program presented by Push To Win ministry, assisted the mininstry with their Fun Day event, and we provided backpacks filled with school supplies to a few residents and their family.
COMMUNITY CHURCHES (Houston area)
We participated in community service fairs to help serve the students in the community.
HARRIS AND FORT BEND COUNTY
We are servicing students in our Academic Development Program at several locations around the counties.
IN 2011 and 2010-
We serviced in the THIRD WARD (inner city) area two Charter Schools, a Transition Home for Homeless single parents, and the Covenant House for Homeless Teens by distributing school supplies and back packs to their students and residents.
We serviced in WEST AFRICA --> GHANA --> SUNYANI students in the town of DUMASUA BRONG-AHAFO and the HANUKKAH CHILDREN'S HOME (an orphanage) with school supplies, backpacks, and books for a library.
These children live in one of the villages in Ghana, West Africa. Many walk for miles for water, food and school. Some are unable to attend school due to lack of finances, and their need to help the family earn money.
To the right are the homes of those who live in the villages. There are homes in the towns that are built with concrete but several families living in carved out rooms. There are areas in Ghana were the influential live in elaborate homes. Not all areas are poor but those that are, need our support.
Instead of being in school, the children below are trying to help their family financial by selling bags of water and snacks to the passengers on this bus
